Dave Has been playing various types of venues since he was 12 years old. Born and raised in Monterey, Calif. , he then spent 20 years in the studios and touring based out of  Los Angeles .Some of his credits include writing music for Baywatch, The Untouchables, The Lifetime Channel. Dave has toured all over the world most notably with Al Stewart.( Year Of The Cat, Time Passages), and Smooth Jazz icon, Peter White. Currently Dave is heard on Peter White's #1 Smooth Jazz hit, "Mr. Magic". Living outside of Boulder, CO, for the past 5 years, Dave has put together some different outstanding groups to meet the needs of playing situations in the Front Range and around the world. Recently, Dave could be heard jamming in Tunisia, North Africa.

   The first is the Dave Camp Band. In addition to playing songs from Dave's Albums, this group plays a wide variety of styles of music including Rock, R & B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Variety.(that is, we'll play your song list or stay in a particular style of music as long as you like). This group can be expanded up to a full 20 piece Big Band.

   Next is the Dave Camp Jazz Trio. Consisting of sax,flute, keyboards, and stand up bass, this group is able to cover a wide range of events with styles ranging from Jazz standards, Swing, Smooth Jazz, and our trademark, popular songs played with a contemporary jazz atmosphere.

   The Dave Camp Duo comes in different forms depending on the event and type of music you are looking for.

   The Dave Camp Duo typically is made up of Dave plus  Dana Marsh on keyboards. Dana is an amazing pianist with a deep knowledge of songs and how they're made up. If we have the music, or we've ever heard the song , or you can hum a few bars, we'll play it. Also available are guitar and acoustic bass for variety.

   The Duo Classique is a classical music duo of flute and cello. It's forte' is wedding ceremonies and elegant gatherings. The cello is handled adeptly by Dave's daughter Olive who has been playing for 10 years and professionally for 4.
